  • Omija Yeohaeng

If you are in reunion with your birth family, we’re excited to invite you to join a new weekly virtual support group, Omija Yeohaeng. Omija Yeohaeng, the “five flavored fruit journey”, is a metaphor for Korean adoptees (KADs) who are navigating the complex terrain of being in reunion with their birth families.

Stewarded by KADs who are in reunion, Susan Ambrose (she/her), in collaboration with Daniel Moon (he/his), Omija Yeohaeng exists to be a brave sanctuary, inviting you to explore your identity as a KAD in reunion among peers. This is a safe space crafted for acknowledging the unique journey each of us embarks upon. While being guided by mindfulness and recovery methodologies we will share our stories, explore, learn, and process our experiences together. We extend an invitation to KADs in reunion who are seeking solace and understanding.

Please join us in this collective journey of self-discovery, healing, and mutual support.

For KADs who are or have been in reunion and whose one or both parents have passed, please contact the group using the email below for information about their monthly Zoom call.

Email: omijayeohaeng@gmail.com for the Facebook group and Zoom info.

Meets Saturdays at 7:30a PST/10:30a EST
